I’m Kelly, an Art Director with a serious sense of humor and a passion for people. I have over 15 years of experience working in-house for brands like Amazon, Lucas Films, Food Network, Stanley Brand, Nike, Jockey, Target, Old Navy, ProFlowers, FTD, Paramount Pictures and Walmart, as well as start-ups like Brandless, BioClarity, Courage Brands, PureBoost Supplements, Fork and Melon and Dr. Squatch Soaps. I like to think that over time I’ve acquired a pretty darn unique skill set: Making demanding clients happy, while making “blah" brands better. My approach involves creating unique and compelling visual stories to bring a clients’ brand or idea to life.
I absolutely love to collaborate – the messier the brainstorm, the better – and I draw huge satisfaction from validating my creative hunches with hard-hitting insights. As a seasoned leader, I truly enjoy mentoring and coaching, but I also believe that learning goes both ways: I approach every personal challenge (or challenging person!) as another opportunity to learn and grow. I have a hands-on approach to all my projects.
When it comes to the nitty gritty, I’ve done it all: Creative direction, direct photo and video shoots, senior-level design, lead design teams, package design, illustration, photo shoot production, and the greatest art of all: tempering the mood swings of the tiny dictator who lives in my home, also known as my 7 year old daughter. When I’m not directing/designing at work or being mom at home you can find me outdoors.
